Sunbrella
An important element in our high–quality standards is the materials we start with. The most popular fabric we use is Sunbrella® brand fabric. It is a solution–dyed acrylic fabric that is water resistant, fade resistant and rot resistant. It has been given the “Seal of Recommendation” from The Skin Cancer Foundation, the only global organization concerned exclusively with the cancer of the skin. It also shields you from the sun’s harmful UV rays, so you can enjoy the outdoors in comfort, knowing you are protected. Mesh fabrics are similar to screens and are used for umbrellas, sunshades, rolling solar screens, windscreens, awnings, and canopies. The mesh provides shade and UV protection while allowing light and air circulation into the protected area. The fabric is made of polyester and laminated with vinyl creating a see-through fabric that has high–performance standards. The fabric is abrasion resistant, anti-fungal, antimicrobial, anti-mildew, and flame retardant while also boasting high tensile and tear strength.

FIRESIST
Fire resistance is an important concern in the commercial awning, canopy, and shade market. To meet this need, FIRESIST has developed an attractive, easy-to-maintain, and fire-resistant fabric. This fabric has gained a reputation for meeting the stricter fire rating requirements required for commercial applications. This flame-retardant coating is also UV resistant, making it the perfect choice for commercial awnings, canopies, and other shade structures.
Comtex
Comtex® is a superior fire-rated, knitted HDPE shade fabric designed for large tension membrane structures and architectural sail shades. It is recommended for larger commercial installations with unsupported spans of up to 100 feet.
Shade cloth is a knitted high-density polyethylene fabric with a high strength to weight ratio. The product is strong, stable, has high UV and fire performance ratings, and is breathable, making it an ideal choice for residential or commercial shade projects. The fabric can be used for tension membrane structures, architectural sail shades, or areas requiring large unsupported spans of shade.

GORE Tenara
To enhance the life of your residential or commercial awning, we use Gore™ Tenara® sewing thread. Gore™ Tenara® sewing thread is made from 100% expanded PTFE (Poly Tetra Fluoro Ethylene). Gore™ Tenara® thread is completely resistant to UV sunlight, and won’t diminish from continuous sun exposure. It is also unaffected by cleaning products, saltwater, and extreme weather temperatures so its colors won’t fade, and it won’t rot or mold.

Gatorshield
During the fabrication of our welded frames, we use high-strength galvanized steel tubing, called Gatorshield. Gatorshield tubing is given superior corrosion resistance by patented triple layer, in-line Flo-Coat process. Coatings of zinc and chromate are applied, then a clear polymer topcoat seals the surface. The result is unmatched, long-lasting rust and corrosion protection. Powder Coating
Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder, generally used to finish metal. The main difference between a conventional liquid paint and a powder coating is that the powder coating does not require a solvent to keep the binder and filler parts in a liquid suspension form. In addition to being able to apply this coating to a variety of outdoor awnings, canopies, and coverings, we also have thousands of colors to choose from, ranging from your standard color wheel to translucent, pastels, metal flake, candies, hammer tones, clear shades, and two–step overlay.
